"Excellent choice to stay at pisa. The main train station is within a 10 minute walk. The breakfast is varied and fresh. Lovely frescoes at the bedroom. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommended"

"Great location for the tower and cathedral, but our rooms either side of the front door on the ground floor were terribly noisy with no potential to open the window resulting in a VERY poor night's sleep. Facilities in the hotel are limited with just an inroom coffee machine and a communal microwave and vending machine, but adequate with a good cafe and McDonald's opposite and plenty of restaurants close by. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Parking on the street proved easy although the African guys looking for tips (and trying car doors) was slightly intimidating. On street parking was E1.60 per hour and free 8pm to 8am. "

"One of our favorite hotels in Italy. Great value but even more great hotel. The room was so quiet, clean and comfortable bed. The ac/heat was perfect. The staff check-in were so nice. Also the breakfast was very enjoyable along with friendly staff. "

"Good stay overall. Got a front view of central station from the room. Listening to the fountain water flow at night was quite relaxing. Good spot to stay in. Local eateries and transport services readily available. Do not expect iron to be delivered in your room in case you are! Friendly staff. Overall a good experience."

"Avoid at all cost! The location of this hotel is excellent and impossible to fault. It is central, with a lovely position on the river, making it ideal for exploring the area. The included breakfast was also a positive, with a good variety of options to suit different tastes. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. There was almost no protection from outside noise, and the street noise was constant, especially early in the morning when the street cleaners started. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and clearly not fit for purpose. Every movement caused the frame to creak loudly, which was hardly surprising given it appeared to be made from plywood. As a result, we had an awful night’s sleep and decided to check out after just one night and stay somewhere else. There was also no proper hot water. We only discovered this the following morning when we turned on the shower, and the water was barely lukewarm. The bathroom itself was in very poor condition, with missing tiles, obvious poor-quality repairs, and a bathtub that looked discoloured and unclean. The staff were pleasant on arrival, but much less helpful when we raised these issues at check-out. They suggested we should have reported them sooner, but the problems only became apparent late at night and the following morning. Whilst I understand this is an old hotel that has a nice charm, the basic standards of comfort and cleanliness were not met!"
