"Het huis ligt op een prachtige plek die echter alleen via een moeilijk begaanbaar bergweg te bereiken is. Op zich een fijn huis maar getuigt van onverschillig onderhoud - het bestek zat nog in plastic, de laden van de koelkast ook. De keuken was vettig en het meubilair doorgezakt. Maar wel 2 ruime slaapkamers, 2 badkamers en prima woonkamer. Buiten alle ruimte"

"Wir hatten 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Ansedonia. Schon in der Vorbereitungsphase haben Ronald und Carey so warm und großartig mit uns kommuniziert. Das Haus selbst wird auch von der Familie übers Jahr genutzt, was in Ferienhäusern immer ein echtes Plus bedeutet: Die Küche war top ausgestattet, man findet alles was man braucht, viele private Dinge schaffen eine heimelige charmante Atmosphäre, Bücher, Fotos und vieles mehr. Der Blick von beiden Terrassen ist atemberaubend schön, die Sonne geht jeden...

This caused frequent an lengthy outages, which means no air conditioning or electrical fans…The villa is nice but it has not been renovated, and it is basically falling into pieces, which is a shame given the nice location."

"Our family and friends from three countries stayed at the Convento and it was amazing. The atmosphere, inside and out, beautifully decorated and luxurious as well as the variety of spaces to dine, both inside and out, made it a perfect property for us. The children liked the pool, of course, and the private reading areas. They also enjoyed a scavenger hunt in the garden. "Zufahrt, übelster Schotterweg 1 km steil bergauf. Mit Audi A6 mehrmals aufgesessen. Bungalow war für uns nicht beziehbar. Ziehmlich unhygenisch vieles kaputt und eklige Möbel. Die Agentur hat uns nach öfteren telefonieren dann auf der Straße sitzen gelassen. Mussten uns dann eigenmächtig ein Hotell suchen um nich auf der Straße zu schlafen. Wenigstens bekamen wir unser Geld wieder. Katastrophe nie wieder."

"4 statt 5 Sterne wegen sporadischem Lärm von vorbeifahrenden Zügen (nicht besonders häufig) und zeitlich eingeschränkter und mit geteilter Poolnutzung (war kein Problem aber im Angebot nicht ersichtlich). Toller, gepflegter Garten, bis auf den Zug ruhige Lage. Tolle Gastgeber, gerne wieder!"

E' tanto umido che gli asciugamani forniti erano inutilizzabili per l'odore tremendo di muffa che emanavano (ripeto non per la scarsa igiene ma per l'altissimo tasso di umidità nell'appartamento). Magari il problema si sarebbe potuto risolvere utilizzando i due condizionatori come deumidificatori ma, per un motivo che non conosciamo, non erano presenti i telecomandi nell'appartamento. "This has to be one of my favorite hotels in Europe, and my most favorite in Italy. The staff were incredible, the view was amazing, and the rooms were so much bigger than anticipated. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family, and I will be back as soon as possible."
