Wouldn't recommend

Toilet didn't flush (hotel was aware, said they could do nothing about it), very old bathroom, shower didn't work properly. Very noisy from traffic, no sleep all night.

I would like to complain about the hotel accomodation provided last night. First off, the car park was a swamp. I quite literally got stuck in thr mud when turning my van around. Next there was no food facilities in the lodge. It was just a room. No evening meal and no breakfast. The site was slap bang in the middle of a housing estate, which had a pub a few hundred yards down the road bit i dont drink and will not visit a pub. The shower was so small i coild only just get in it. The bed was single, i am not a small person and have not slept in a single bed in over 20 years.

Typical contractors digs in my opinion - decent value. Clean bed, cobwebs and dirt on the walls. Shower door wont shut right so makes the cubicle even smaller. Shower is a drip at best. Toilet is installed close to the radiator so god help anyone sitting on it when radiator is on. Was booked in a 2nd week but think Ill give it a miss.

A good basic place to stay. Would have been nice to have been told about the hidden facilities in the room which we found before checkout! Shower door was broken and the fan (which we were thankful for) was grubby. But it was otherwise clean and comfortable

NO MONEY, NO ROOM

After a long travel with 2 seperate flights and by car for starting from 04:00 am till 21:00 I reached to the hotel. By chance ; the visa card I have with me, needs bank authorisation via our company's bank account branch and have no STG available with me. I wanted to pay USD$, but the staff said NO STG, NO ROOM.. I pleased her, at this time of the day there is no place to exchange the USD to STG, and the branch is close at the moment.. I pleased her and forced her to ask her manager/owner for the situation ; whether I pay early in the morning (tomorrow), I pay with USD$, or leave my passport or else.. You know what they replied.. "Sorry, NO STG, NO ROOM". This is not Hospitality, this is not tourism... Reservation is done via Expedia, and I'am not just a passing through customer... At night about ~24:00 o'clock in my country, I did wake up a member of my family and asked her help... About 35-40 minutes of waiting we solve the card problem via internet/call center.. Then once the payment of room is done then I get the rooms key.. So many motivational proverbs on the walls, but no sypathy, empathy, and just saying "NO STG, NO ROOM, sorry ".. I'am really sorry for this mentallity....

Arrived at 9pm. No staff there, rang sister hotel and got key from key box to let myself into room. Hotel good value with ample parking and kitchenette in the bedroom. Advise let them know if arriving in evening
