Love the whole ambience and the helpful and lovely staff . They went out of their way to help and with a smile and things are dealt with promptly. Place is beautiful and the evening menus were delicious!!!

Such a beautiful place with a high level of cleanliness, we couldnt fault it! Loved the little touches of coffee machine & classical music played on arrival into our room. We throughly enjoyed our time at the bell and we're already planning our next visit! Brunch was beautifully presented and the staff we're all fantastic, we've stayed in quite a few hotels and honestly this was one of our favourite. A beautiful, peaceful gem. Thankyou!

Overnight stay. Very friendly staff The room was in an annex facing the beer garden and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. No issues with cleanliness. Managed to charge my car overnight at no cost

Very lovely atmosphere nice sunny evening so we could sit out in the courtyard, our room did look over courtyard so it was a bit noisy as it was hot so window was open all night but didn't spoil our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times

Warm,cosy and friendly. Food is exceptional Rooms are warm and cosy. Staff are second to none just had a refurbishment very nice. Unsure about check-in location as its in the open restaurant and i felt i was checking in in a Costa coffee but overall it was excellent.

Great place for a stopover

Great location off A1 for a stopover. Excellent staff, very welcoming. Comfortable room but walls very thin, could hear everything from next door. Lovely evening meal and breakfast. Good value.

A perfect getaway!

Very Welcoming

It was most welcoming, a good check-in. The room was lovely and comfortable, with a message left from 'housekeeping' a nice touch. Coffee and tea facilities very good.

Nice style property, older period building but nicely remodelled in bathrooms which is good. The area I didn’t explore as I was there for one night. The hotel is lovely and staff very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again. Restaurant very nice also.
