Amazing would recommend

Amazing place, had everything and more to make sure any visitors are comfortable even things we didnt know we would need. I was there with the children and they barely wanted to leave the grounds but when we did venture out there is loads of places nearby to visit. Staff were very helpful and lovely

The great thing about this hotel is it is on the Formartine Buchan Way, so you can cycle there, and while you’re there, easily. Very good food for dinner, and beautiful surroundings also

Staff are always excellent and very friendly. Breakfast quality and little extra touches in the room are really appreciated too. Haddock, black pudding and poached eggs is fantastic.

Fabulous stay at Saplin Brae

We had three rooms for one night, to celebrate a family birthday, and had dinner in the restaurant. The rooms were all extremely comfortable, with everything you could need. the bathrooms were great too. Dinner was really excellent and my son who has a dairy allergy was given his own menu to choose from, this was brilliant, and an added extra that was greatly appreciated. We had drinks by the fire before dinner, and returned there afterwards. Breakfast was delicious, staff so helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough!

lovely stay. The rooms are very nice, there is a beautiful lake behind the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Sitting at the fire place enjoying a glass of wine, what's not to like.

Amazing Scottish Gem

Amazing hotel. Very attentive staff. Very welcoming and helpful. Lovely cocktails. Our room had an amazing view and was very comfortable and clean. We even got a free upgrade for our wedding anniversary. Extremely kind and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.
