I usually visit Springfield for the Illinois State Fair in August, and this hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the fairgrounds. Always reasonably priced compared to several other hotels in the area. It's a bit older than some, but as long as you aren't looking for anything real modern or fancy, it is a solid stay."
