"Great hotel. Very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Room was very clean and quiet with amazing views of Baku. Le Labo bathroom products are a nice touch. "
"Absolutely great hotel in great area if the great city. Stayed with my wife and friends 7 nights, had a great experience, paid $95 per night per room, with fantastic sea view from balcony, all toiletries, free water, tea, teapot, iron, everything you need. Was impressed with reception staff, they speak at least three languages including Azerbaijani, English, and Russian. Special thank to Dilara from reception who did wonderful job to arrange special gift for my birthday, she has her birthday on September 8, wish her happy birthday for all for of us! Ahmad and Yusuf did a great job helping us to deal with taxi drivers and other issues. Thank you Sheraton Baku Intourist!!!! We will be back!!!"
"We arrived very early morning due to our flight schedule. The two gentlemen at the reception arranged a 1/2 price and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is beautifully decorated, quiet, and comfortable. I would only change the breakfast options as the buffet retained the same menu each morning."
"Very old furniture including beds, looks like these furniture is inuse for many decades. Door was not openning fully, only 10% I could open and supposed to enter with sidewalk.
Allmost on all doors handles are not functioning properly.
In overall it is pool with hotel rathar than hotel with the pool. Beachbis dirty and area for swimming is very small. Territory outside is also very dirty.
The fact that check in is at 14:00 rooms suuppsed to be ready around this time.
I came around 16:00 and could enter room only at 17:30, in addition they said that there will be towels for so.e period of time. "
"The rooms are pathetic..very tiny and ill maintained. The only good thing is the sea view. But you have to enjoy it from a tiny balcony.
Bathroom shower had to pressure, drain was choked.
No value for money. "
"We chose this hotel largely for the views and that did not disappoint. Unique property. Our view from the room however was basically a building wall. We came in late so when they asked if we would like our room serviced "today" the first day we said it wasn't necessary. But despite using the please service room sign the next 2 days the room was not tended. Had to ask for toilet paper and water at the desk several times. Also asked for towels but those were never replaced over the 5 days. Also the room was overall comfy and clean but the shower had lots of black mold. The breakfast was traditional and delicious but could only enjoy the view with breakfast once as it doesn't start until 9. Not great if you have tours booked as they also typically start at 9. Asked if we could have just some day old pastries/bread for the next morning and was told no. Finally we had a very early departing flight so asked if they could arrange a taxi that accepted cards (as all of the actual taxi services do) since we didn't want to depend on bolt that early and had used all of our local currency and didn't want to get another withdrawal fee. They woke us in the middle of the night to confirm this. Then called a guy that seemed to just be a friend and def not a taxi or bolt driver and could only accept cash so had to stop at an ATM. Loved Baku and Azerbaijan and usually prefer more boutique type hotels over but chains but would definitely have booked in old city if I were to do it again. "
