"Super clean, friendly, and well-maintained hostel in the heart of Copacabana. The staff is very warm and easy-going, I became friends with everyone quickly :). I liked how they updated the activities board daily and invited me to events going on that day. I even joined the Caipirinha-making class run by one of the staff, it was so much fun! There is nothing like starting your journey out in prayer and greatfulness on top of their private mountain with sugarloaf Christ the Redemeer and the other side of the city all within a turn. There are many reading nooks across the property to calm down after all your adventures. The entire was clean and the sheets even had a faint smell of bleach meaning you know you are in a good place. The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort "
