"The owner of the apartment was really really nice and very helpful. The apartment was clean and the pool and the view were just grea. The apartment was just a little old, so water came out of the fridge and the oven didn’t work. there was only salt water in the shower and the apartment was very far away from the town. You don’t have a chance without a car. Besides all these facts, we had really nice beautiful stat with really nice people who were very helpful . For example we forgot our keys in...

"Stayed here in September for 3 days. The accommodations were excellent. The checkin process was easy. The host was very reachable and responsive during our stay. The location was perfect. Just a few steps from the beach where there were lounge chairs and umbrellas accessible to guests. Comfy beds, plenty of room to spread out, and 3 separate A/C units to keep the place cool on hot days. We enjoyed the private backyard and pool as well. We will definitely come back."

Quirky and great

"The hotel is unique and individually decorated and furnished. We had a large terrace with loungers, tables and chairs. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful. The cobbled street is steep to the hotel and could be slippery particularly when wet. Numerous bars and restaurants a few minutes walk down the hill to the harbour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

Brilliant

"Excellent location. Right on the harbour front with a very short walk from the ferries and water taxis. Check-in was easy and all the staff were amazing. Breakfast was OK but was included in the cost of accommodation. Really good bar outside of hotel overlooking the harbour. A great base if you're staying on the Island. We really enjoyed our stay which was enhanced by the staff."

"Everything was perfect. Sitting on the front veranda was heavenly, both in the morning enjoying the sumptuous breakfast buffet, and in the evening with a glass of wine looking out at the sea. And I really can't say enough about the staff -- everybody was super helpful and friendly and professional. Absolutely recommend this wonderful hotel in every way."

"The staff at Hydra hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in room 201 with spectacular corner views of the port and was right next to the breakfast area with its own outdoor area. Unless you are carrying a light weight bag, just plan on hiring the donkey transportation to the hotel. I carried my heavy bad myself, having not understood how many steps there actually were and would not recommend it! I highly recommend Hydra Hotel for its kind staff, beautiful aesthetics, and insane views!"
