"Our 3 week tour starting in the Ardeche valley, culminated in our last of 5 hotel stopovers being at Croix de Reh due to its proximity to the Lac de Vassiviere - a stunning location - pre planned on our trip. Croix de Reh was far and away the best of our hotel experiences on our entire trip. The property itself is full of old world charm and our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Owners Peter and Galla are friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble in making us feel at home. Peter was on hand with a beer and a chat by the pool. And Galya prepared some fantastic meals. All at a very competitive price. We have no hesitation in offering the strongest recommendation for hotel Croix de Reh. "

"There is very nice parking lot for your car. The staff is excellent and check in was very nice with an actual person. No self check-in required. Just be aware there are no faciiites close by as you are out in the country. The hotel does have a nice restaurant service with limited outs and a bar with wine and beer and some other alcohol. The stay was very pleasant and I recommend it though only if you have your own transportation. There are faciiities close by but you would need a car to get there. "

"Really great stay, studio was brilliant. We were unable to find anywhere to eat on Saturday night, but because studio was so well appointed we were able to cook ourselves a meal. Everything about the studio was good. Aubusson was interesting with lots to see, but our impression was marred by there being stinky dog poo everywhere. The mayor needs to organise pavement cleaning. "

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
