Great resort - lovely indoor and outdoor pools, duplex room ideal for family of 4, large leafy site with electric buggies to ferry you between room and reception/restaurants. Location: hotel is located away from the main tourist area and so nowhere is walkable. The hotel does have bicycles free to use which we took to cycle through some rice fields to a local village (few km round trip and flat).
Rooms: large and clean. Bathrooms the same. Still with small towels - like the rest of Vietnam hotels it seems.
Pool was lovely - water warm, large towels provided and drinks available.

"Infinity pool was only available to swim at 4:00pm which was kind of a bummer. But there were 2 other pools in the next building with option of closed or open. Walkable to the busy streets of Ninh Binh with food, shopping and other stores. "
"The staff at Muong Village are very attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean and well presented. The outdoors are stunning and the pool was very welcoming and delicious to swim in after a long day of activities. Bikes are free to use as well which makes it easier to get around. You may have to use Grab though for longer trips unless you like and can ride a motorcycle. "

"This was such a nice surprise. The property was quiet and very unique. We had such a nice welcome at breakfast and the food was quite good. After breakfast we went on a nice bike ride around the area, they provided the bikes. I would most definitely stay here again. "

We experienced a typhoon while there which destroyed a lot of local fruit trees and left us without power for a few hours on the second night. All together a decent stay and on a side note transportation will be required if you need to eat out. "
