the hotel itself was incredible and the area was great. The breakfast selection was also top notch. One complaint I had was we found it near impossible to find water fountains to get water throughout the day. It would be nice to have a station in the lobby for water/coffee throughout the day. Also the housekeeping never showed up after requesting the room to be serviced one day which was inconvenient.

Highlight is breakfast. Staff is also terrific. What kept me from rating my stay a 5 stars is based on 2 issues: mattress needs replacing. It was too soft, too bouncy and seemed like it’s at the end of its life. The other issue is the inability to get the room to a comfortable temperature. If we used the heat it became too hot so we used the air conditioning instead despite the outside temperature being 30 degrees. Not sure if it was a thermostat issue or an equipment issue but it made the stay uncomfortable.

Room was quiet & clean. The pillows were really lumpy. Stayed one night as a convenience between early day-long meetings. Did not eat breakfast or tour the grounds. That’s why the “resort fee” was an unpleasant surprise. The place was adequate but not a good value for my purpose.

This is a beautiful property. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The spin bike in the gym was broken, which was disappointing everyone we encountered was cheerful and welcoming.
