The Neighborhood:
Most people know the Philadelphia Museum of Art from the iconic Rocky steps—but that’s just scratching the surface of what the Museum District has to offer.
This pocket of the city—also known as Logan Square—is where grand boulevards meet culture at every corner. It's Philly’s front lawn, lined with international flags and some of the world’s top museums, all anchored by the dramatic sweep of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Locals call it “our Champs-Élysées,” and they’re not kidding.
The Museum District is where you’ll stumble upon Rodin sculptures on your coffee run, take in sunset views behind the Art Museum, and stroll past fountains, gardens, and world-class exhibits without the crowds. And yes, it’s still walkable to downtown’s buzz.
If you visit Philly and skip this district? You didn’t really do Philly.
Getting Around:
Philadelphia, one of the country’s most walkable cities, is incredibly easy to navigate either by foot or by public transportation. That just leaves one question: Where to park the car?
On-Street Parking
Philadelphia has thousands of metered spots throughout the city, perfect if you only plan to park for an hour or two.
For paid long-term parking, we'd be happy to share options with you once you book.
For moving around, you'll also find several bus stops, bike ride-sharing stations, and subway stations.
Otherwise, we recommend moving around the city using Uber or Lyft - its fairly affordable!
