"We absolutely loved our stay at Matlacha on Shoreview! Tucked away and wonderfully quiet, it felt like a true off-the-beaten-path retreat. The staff went above and beyond—so friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
We especially enjoyed the complimentary kayaks for exploring the water and really appreciated having laundry facilities available during our stay. A special highlight was the Memorial Day reception with delicious snacks and beverages—it was such a thoughtful touch that made the holiday feel extra special.
This place is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!"

"The house had a very nice location. It was very roomy and worked well for our family of six. I can tell from my experience in other rentals that EVERYTHING has been well thought out. The entire family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The unit was very clean.
