If you have always wanted to top off your travel day with a seven part puzzle to access your room, parking and wifi with fobs that only occasionally work-this could be for you! Coming in late as a solo traveler walking down the unlit alley to get into the first lock box to get the keys was unnerving. Only worth it for long stays off at least 5 days. Area felt safe overall, but I wished I had picked a different stay. I was not able to get in touch with anyone for help and check out was as complicated as check in

The room was great and comfortable with a wonderful view. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot. I loved the gym and the dog run was well. Great location and walkable to dinner and drinks. Lots of young students live here and they were very polite.

We rented a studio for only 1 night and were pleasantly surprised by the amenities -- it was like a fully furnished apartment. The design was modern and clean, and bathroom was spacious. The AC worked well and was very strong. Unlike other rentals that have limited appliances, our room had a full size fridge and freezer, microwave, oven with stovetop, dishwasher, washer and dryer, coffeemaker and kettle. There was a water filter pitcher in the fridge, cooking utensils, cutting boards, a big can of coffee grounds, dishes and cutlery, ironing board and iron. The check-in and checkout process were tricky, as was the free parking, which was in another complex across the street. Ideally, if you can check-in while the front office has staff (we did; staff were very helpful), it was a bit easier. It is not convenient if you have multiple loads to transport to and from your car, but with planning, it was fine. Questions were answered quickly by email, and you get multiple email and text notifications on how to obey the rules and avoid surcharges. Now that I know the system, and because we like to prep our own food, I'd like to stay for longer.
These are the traditional "Lockboxes" that hold your electronic keys. You will get your codes only a few hours before your arrival. The boxes are locked on to a chain link fence between the two apartment towers.

I normally dont leave reviews but, there are somethings that i feel like need to expressed so the next person doesn't have the same issue. As others have mentioned, the parking situation is a little wonky at 1st, but what was not mentioned, is the homeless situation. Out of a 3 day stay there were homeless men sleeping in the benchs directly in front of the main entrance, and on the side of the building every day. With that being said, The garage was across the street, and its very dimly lit, there is no security in the garage. Also the way that the garage is set up, u have to walk up the parking garage driveway, and up the car ramp and the landing to get to the 1st floor elevator to take u up to the floor where you are able to park.There was no elevator on the main floor to take u to that 1st landing, and if there was an alternative way to get there, nobody gave the information. Also, the one stairwell u did find, i encountered someone reliving themselves in it, so do with that what u will. The pool and the amenities are nice, but the chairs and the the pillows on most of seating were filthy. Especially by the pool chairs being yellow, there were active dirt rings and stains on all of the seating... beyond, just normal outside stains, like the stuff either had never been washed/wiped down or just it needs to be replaced. The pool was nice, just bring an extra towel of u want to lay on, if u want to lay out in the sun the inside was clean, and smelled nice.

My husband is on continuous oxygen and we needed a place with close parking and handicap accessible. Using Hotel.com is a joke. The place I reserved did not indicate that it was not handicap accessible. The location of this apartment had no close parking and the amount of walking from one place to another affected his health greatly. I tried to cancel but they refused and we were charged for 21 days. They texted that they were sorry that the apartment wasn't suitable for our needs but they were still charging full price. The ad never mentioned that parking was in a garage another block away. Poor advertising and scammed.

The Key exchange was a bit of a nightmare; the lockbox was jammed, and the only way to communicate was via email. The front desk can't help. However, the host/hostess was fairly prompt in emailing back and forth, so the situation could have been a lot worse. Great spot, great location.

The studio is very small and would not be conducive for a long term rental. Checkin and checkout is complicated due to having to park in another building across the street before getting the parking permit and key fob to the unit. The checkin link did not work for 45 minutes after checkin and had to call numerous times before someone answered the phone. The unit is well located to attractions, restaurants and brew pubs. The unit was very clean

Some Joy but some non-Joy too

It was a bit tricky to find the lockbox. Once found, it was also a pain to get the parking permit from upstairs and come back down. I would like to suggest the parking permit be folded into the lockbox or rolled into a plastic bag for the lockbox. I think it would fit and would avoid a lot of back and forth. Having said that, it was very nice to have parking in downtown Phoenix! The location of this apartment is excellent. However I would say it is more for a younger crowd. The gym and pool facilities are wonderful but it is noisy in the hallway and there are lots of young adults chatting at all hours. Since the door is very thin, you can hear their every conversation. The view from the apartment is also terrific. There is a full kitchen and although we didn’t cook, one could easy make meals there. I agree with a previous review— the towels were a bit lacking. We didn’t have a bathmat and the towels were thin and small. We were fine but definitely unlike a nice hotel.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The building had nice amenities, including a rooftop lounge, pool, and gym. The check-in, parking, and check-out was a little complicated. You have to pick up the keys from a lockbox next to the building, then pick up the parking permit from the apartment, before you can park in the designated garage. You also have to return the parking permit at checkout, so you have to move your car and return the permit, before you can check out and return the keys to the lockbox. If you have a conference or work that runs until later in the day, then you have to find alternative parking for the rest of the day. It was an added complication that I wasn't expecting and it was inconvenient, but otherwise, I had a good stay.
