"A great choice for the price, with a very convenient location near the bus stop that gets you to Capri center in just five minutes. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and include room service. The rooms are a little small, but overall it’s a comfortable and good-value stay."
"I’ve been to Capri many times. Luckily, I discovered the Hotel Syrene— the best location, a block away from all the shops, restaurants, gelato cafes & transportation. The staff was terrific, and each one was nicer than the next. Plus, my room was beautiful and elegant. The bathroom and amenities are excellent. Loved every moment. "This hotel I’d clean and comfortable with excellent service. It had a rooftop terrace overlooking the bay of Naples, with Vesuvius directly across the bay. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the morning, and cocktails are available there throughout the day.
One of the best things about the hotel is the location. Situated on the Marina Grande, it is ten minutes walk from the ferry terminal, allowing easy access to Naples, Sorrento, Rome or the Amalfi Coast. It is steps away from the funicular railway the goes from the marina to Capri town, which is situated several hundred feet above the harbor. From the funicular you can walk the streets of Capri town, which is loaded with high end shops and fining. From there, you can take a bus to Anacapri, which is quieter than Capri town, but also has many interesting shops. Buses to and from Capri town and Anacapri also run from the bus terminal near the hotel, though they are crowded and the trip up and down the winding roads can be a bit wild.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and convenience."
