From just outside the front door, the trail leads directly into the park’s trail system. Guests regularly hike to waterfalls, the lake and overlooks without ever getting in the car. Many mention that once they arrive, they rarely feel the need to leave.

After a day outdoors, the pace naturally slows. Relax in the professionally maintained hot tub on the lower deck, unwind by the fire pit under the stars, or grill dinner in the secret garden. This is a split-level cottage with stairs to bedrooms on upper and lower levels, so it is not suitable for unsupervised small children.

Pets are not allowed, although ADA-compliant service animals must be accepted.

Exterior cameras are located outside only for guest safety and property security. There are no interior or interior-facing cameras.

Landscaping maintenance may occasionally occur during longer stays.
