"The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates. "Enjoyed a lovely stay with family for a weekend in mid-February. It was an ideal gathering space with top-notch amenities (i.e. Hot tub, Subzero fridge and a heated bathroom floor). Everything was SO CLEAN! Host was on vacation herself but very responsive to a few questions we had. Kids had a great time playing the games in the garage and using the tv and video games in the basement. The adults enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing cards at the dining room table. I only wish we could have stayed...
