We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Views are amazing and for anyone who loves scenery and nature this is a lovely place to stay.
fantastic location especially if you get the weather and manage to get outside for evening meal. Room was nice and clean and good size (family room) food was superb and definitely value for money.
Staff very friendly. First night we arrived dining room wasn't open due to staff sickness, however young lady offered us sandwiches or pizza off the menu. Bar well stocked. Lovely place with awesome views of rolling hills
Stayed one night (Saturday). Plenty of friendly staff. Good pub grub but limited options as no burgers and ran out of pies early in the evening.
Well stocked bar.
Dog friendly.
A lovely break in Rosedale, friendly and welcoming staff, good pub with a roaring fire, pleasant and comfortable room. Would be great to see a lighter option on the dinner menu, but that’s personal preference.
What a beautiful location- the drive down from the moor at sunset is amazing. Great staff, breakfast is a feast for your stomach and your eyes because the views from the dining room or outside decking are stunning
The room was lovely and bright and temperature was good too - lots to choose from for breakfast - my only disappointment was the cost of meals at the restaurant and the first night we weren’t given a kids menu so paid for a full adult meal for an 8 yr old - I’m not tight by any means but £300 for 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals with only main course and one drink was a bit too much - however the area and staff were amazing - will stay again
The in was located in an extremely charming setting The drive to was lovely. The opportunity for evening walks was fantastic because of the countryside.
Very friendly country inn in quiet location and very convenient to explore the North Yorkshire Moors area.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable bed.
Breakfast was very good.
