The view from within the Terra Alta house across to St Georges and of the September sunrise is breathtaking and the nearby harbour of Santo Amaro is a real gem. "We were welcomed by Stephie and Toni who live onsite with their pets which our children loved. They cottage was well equipped and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Toni even booked our whale watching trip at a discounted price. Lots of leaflets and information about the area provided and two excellent local restaurants (Faia and Ponta de Ilha) within a short drive. Beautiful views down to the coast from the terrace too."
