"Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good parking. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station where you can take the cable car up to the old city. Best if you have a car since there is free parking below the train station and you’ll need to take the cable car into the old city.
Breakfast is fair and available daily. Sound travels from the hallway as well as the street below, esp if you have your window open. AC is in the room but seemed to be hard to modify and the room stayed warm....
"The villa is truly beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfasts are excellent. There is also the added advantage of plenty of parking. Our stay was only relatively short (4 nights) but we could happily have stayed at Hotel Villa Ciconia for several weeks. "
