"I was looking for a hotel to stay in right outside of the avenue of giants so I could start my day driving through it on my way to eureka. I wanted to maximize my first day of vacation after flying into San Fran and ended up not getting into Redway until 12:30am. The hotel staff were flexible and were able to provide us with late check in. I’m medium boujee about hotels but also on a medium budget, especially when it’s just a quick sleep over. My top priorities are safety, cleanliness, and location. It checked all the boxes. I was nervous about the location being remote or sketchy but it was right next to a restaurant and a gas station and it felt safe. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place in the area for a moderate price. "

"This was our third time staying here and we always have a great time! We take our two small dogs with us and they were also happy to be back. It was quiet at the cottage (except for when the bear tried to get into the garbage at 2am) and we almost had the beach to ourselves. Hope to return soon!"
