"This is an amazing place, absolutely stunning. I only wish we would have planned to stay an extra night. We picked this place because of its proximity to CDG. It is remote but it only took 25 minutes from the hotel to rental car return. The only minor issue was the charge of €46 for breakfast for 2-offerings were good but not great."

"This was a fabulous little hotel! So clean and new. The room was fresh and modern and the place even smells clean when you walk through the halls. Great breakfast options, too. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t work very well."

"Loved the location and the property, which dates to 1830. So the hotel has seen a lot of history, including serving as the headquarters and the hospital and recovery area for the U.S. 2nd Division (combined Marine and Army brigades) after the Battle of Soissons. The traditional French village is at the base of a hill on which rises a magnificent castle. The lake is beautiful. If you don’t speak French, no problem, the front desk manager speaks perfect English. The rooms are on the older side but the bed was extremely comfortable and we could open the big windows and get a wonderful breeze off the lake. The breakfasts were excellent and parking was easy. Quite a pleasant stay. "

And their breakfast was one of my two favorite breakfasts during my two week journey in Europe. Generous, with high quality ingredients. Fresh squeezed juices, delicious cheeses etc.etc. I could elaborate more, but the foods were presented and procured with a sense of excellence and care for the guest. Lovely staff. Loved this stay. "Rooms are no way near as nice as photos suggest. They are basic and to an ok standard for the money. Actually quite dated for Ibis. Biggest let down was AC did not work well at all as the control panel was locked even though it was the middle of August! Probably would not stay again."
