We didn’t take advantage of the outdoors because it was below zero for the majority of the stay so having a fireplace was nice. In fact we asked about more wood and they brought us more. Everyone got their own sleeping space and we had enough room for gift opening, game playing, cookie baking, relaxing by the fireplace and enjoying the sunset views.
