The hotel is well located on the Vah River. It is easy to walk to many restaurants and shops as well as along the river. The hotel common areas and rooms are in good condition, and the staff is very helpful. Parking can be an issue if you are there during a busy time. The buffet breakfast had multiple hot and cold items for a nice start to the day. I had a river view room, which provided a lovely view.

A pleasant hotel with few dysfunctional services

It was a pleasant stay. I have been staying in this hotel for years since 1999. The hotel has been indeed completely transformed since, with positive changes except for one... Their WiFi and internet connection is getting worse. The WiFi is absolutely non existent no matter where you are in the hotel. It's very disappointing for a hotel of that reputation in the city.

The hardest bed I have ever experienced in a hotel. The SPA employees were not serviceminded at all and bording on rude. Restaurant was overpriced and also not serviceminded. Would not recommend.

Piestany Superb Flagship..

Excellent hotel. Getting better and better.i have known this hotel and used it for years since 2004. It has improved drastically and turned into a flagship in Piestany. The reception staff & the restaurant/bar people are just wonderful professionals. I cannot fault any. The hotel has a wellness center on the first floor run by a private firm. I used it then and I used it now. That's the only dark point. It was not good then and it has not improved either, lack of proper management management I suppose. But all in All, Hotel Magnolia hits it for me.

Ich war schon oft im Hotel Magnolia, aber diesmal war es wirklich schlecht. Gleich nach der Buchung habe ich vom Hotel den Hinweis bekommen, dass es nur eine beschränkte Anzahl an Parkplätzen gibt und eine Reservierung NICHT möglich ist. So weit so klar. Bei meiner Ankunft spät abends war der Parkplatz voll, bis auf 4 RESERVIERTE/Abgesperrte Parkplätze vor dem Hotel, die mit Autokennzeichen markiert waren. Auf meine Frage, ob ich einen solchen benutzen könnte, wurde mir gesagt, dass dies nicht möglich ist. Auf Grund dieser Situation musste ich den wesentlich teureren öffentlichen Parkplatz in Hotelnähe benutzen. Wirklich ärgerlich wurde es am nächsten Morgen, als ich das Hotel verlassen habe, und die 4 Parkplätze noch immer gleich abgesperrt und unbenutzt waren. Ich werde mir daher sehr gut überlegen, ob ich dieses Hotel wieder buchen werde, weil dieser Service mich sehr geärgert hat. Da das Hotel auch sonst in einem immer schlechteren Zustand ist, weil offensichtlich nichts investiert wird, wird mir diese Entscheidung letzelich auch leicht gemacht. Einzig das großartige Frühstück würde ich vermissen

Da das Hotel in der Stadt und neben dem Fluß liegt, ist es schwierig mit der Parksituation. Die Stadt ist eine Kur und Badestadt, daher sehr stark besucht. Um nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise zu verbringen sehr ungünstige Lage. Ansonsten war das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und reichhaltig

Boli sme veľmi spokojní. Raňajky boli v celku bohaté a pestré, ale chýbali nám obyčajné zelené šalaty napr. ľadový salat, hlavkovy alebo rukola. A aj ked napr.na tacni dosiel melon, tak ho nedoplnili. Dali tam sice ine ovocie ale nie melon. A to sme boli na ranajkach uz o 8.oo. Maly detail ale trochu pokazi dojem. Mile bolo, ze sme mohli ranajkovat aj na vonkajsej terase hotela. Kava bola ozaj kvalitna.
