"Based on previous reviews we were looking forward to our stay in Melfi and were not disappointed. The apartment is bright and modern and perfectly located within very short walking distance of cafes and restaurants as well as Melfi castle. Our host Giorgio was very friendly and gave us many recommendations for our stay and kept in touch to ensure everything was to our liking. Highly recommended property and a wonderful host. Thank you! "in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous trip to Potenza , my only concern was checking in , resting down my heavy luggage and preparing etc etc! however when i approached the door and tried to enter , there was no response or answer, i also tried to call a dozen times to no response! "Our stay at Masseria Straziuso - La Vaccariccia was an incredible surprise and success. Nestled in the countryside, the inn sits in the middle of a magnificent working farm. We were traveling with a three year old and he was enchanted with the variety of animals. The host could not have been more welcoming and informative. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!"
