"This property is beautiful. Rural. The people are really wonderful. Gated country house. The room was simple but very nice. Two or three seating areas inside and outside well appointed. Mattress and linens extremely comfortable. Great sleep until - roosters and cowbells(? lol) Pool area was great and the patio area is lovely. It’s very peaceful and quiet and after Palermo was wonderfully refreshing. You can walk around the farm/gardens. We had the 4 course dinner with local wine and it was very good. Authentic Italian cooking, served in a beautiful room overlooking garden. Soft piano music. And nice not to have to fight crowds. I really recommend this hotel & the dinner. "

"What a wonderful surprise to enter this beautiful accommodation! Very old building in the center of town, outfitted and updated with every modern convenience you could ever want. Every single convenience was present and functioning perfectly. Spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath. Furnished with beautiful antique furniture and artwork. The owner is an author and historian, there are hundreds of wonderful books.The kitchen was a delight and we were easily able to prepare a few meals.The outdoor patio has a large table with umbrella - the weather was perfect and we enjoyed sitting out there in the quiet.We were on an Ancestral visit and turned out my Grandmother's home (now abandoned) was very close by! We were there during the Pasqua holiday and able to view the ancient procession and fireworksfrom our balcony.Pietraperzia is a very small, quaint and traditional town, the locals are all very friendly and helpful.Transportation to/from is very limited, if you do not drive it is likely necessary to hire a taxi to arrive and depart.We have visited Sicily 10 times from the USA and this was by far the best apartment we have ever booked in our travels!If you want to experience the Sicilian lifestyle, this is by far one of the best places you could spend time in.We did not meet Carmelo but he arranged a ride from Caltanisetta and the driver showed us around the apartment. Carmelo was very quick to respond to any of our questions."

"We stayed for a week and we were very happy with the service. The breakfast was very good with many options to choose from. The staff is very accommodating and they go out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. The first room they gave us after two days had a bit of mould forming on the wall due to the rainy humid weather and while we were out, without us saying anything or complaining at all, they took it upon themselves to switch our rooms. We had family where we would eat but the restaurant attached to the hotel has excellent reviews even by the locals. I will definitely be returning. "
