"Well the big unexpected surprise for our trip! Wonderful little hotel in a fantastic city, that deserves a couple nights. Sadly we only stopped for the night on our way north. Adele was just wonderful!! The location great!! Rooms were big, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was perfect. Also La Pampanini Pizza, best we've had!!! I believe it was Salvatore that served us. Super nice and good english. Anyways, Benevento is worth taking some time. "

"Palazzo Cannavina in Campobasso is truly one of the best places to stay when visiting the city and the stunning Molise region. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the service we received—everything was top-notch from beginning to end. The communication was excellent—quick, helpful responses from the moment we booked. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed with elegant linens, and filled with stunning artwork throughout the building that made every hallway feel like a gallery. One of the most impressive aspects was the daily housekeeping. Our bed was made each morning and the room tidied—a level of care and attention that seems lost in many American hotels, even at high-end resorts. It was refreshing to feel genuinely taken care of, rather than having to chase down basic customer service. (Yes, Disney—this one’s for you!) The atmosphere of Palazzo Cannavina was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots. The people of Campobasso are kind, welcoming, and clearly excited to share their city with visitors. "

"A beautiful property. Very quiet and not far from the old city. Lorenzo was the perfect host. He is knowledgeable about the area and offered to drive us to town. He serves a full breakfast in site. A perfect 10!"

"I stayed just two nights to eat pizza at Pepe in Grani! The customer service was good, and check-in was easy. It's a very quiet town, but with very nice people. I hope to return soon. "

"This is essentially an apartment that has been converted into 3 bedrooms with individual ensuites a shared kitchen area, very clean but very noisy, The heating wasn’t on, the water was turned off in the early hours so hand washing after ablutions wasn’t available. First night the couple in the room next to me got very loudly amorous x 4 ( more energy than I have). Night 2 showers & toilets and neighbours on the above floors arguing. Night 3 maintenance work late early. No information on what is around locally as far as restaurants/ bars/ sightseeing/transport options. Could not take anymore than 3 nights so I left early. Disappointed in Campobasso in general. Wouldn’t recommend this accommodation unless it’s just a quick overnight stay."
