"What a fabulous little gem in Highland Lakes, NJ. The owners were fantastic and approachable, the cottage is updated with all the regular amenities that you would want. The first morning we saw two swans a hundred yards off of the dock followed by two red-headed Pileated Woodpeckers that came into the trees in the yard, simply magical in the winter morning. "Great spot with river view, lovely wooden interior for cozy cabin feel. Wood stove for a nice evening by the fire, but modern heating. Well appointed kitchen. Hot tub fantastic. Fire pit looks awesome but didn’t get to use. On a scenic road along the Delaware, 10 mins to port jervis restaurants and bowling alley memory lanes.
