"Another wonderful stay!"

"I was looking for a cozy getaway for my December birthday and this could not have been better. We were looking for a cozy, restful weekend away and it was perfect. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable, and perfect for sleeping in and slow, relaxing days of reading, streaming and movies, and games and puzzles. We took our little doggies on walks around the neighborhood and enjoyed the Main Street food (the pizza!!) coffee, and general store just minutes away. We prepared 4 meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The cabin and amenities were easy to navigate and thoughtfully laid out. There was so much to do in the area that we look forward to coming back to explore more. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating to our minor traveling hiccups and made the whole trip easy and exactly what we hoped for. We are Kern County residents live about an hour away and are very excited to enjoy more of this community and will be back for sure! "

"We loved our stay at this house - it was the perfect size for our large family group, and the hosts were so amazing about getting us in last minute, after our other reservation cancelled on us the day before we were due to arrive! We were only 30 minutes from an amazing snow play area, and just had the best time! Highly recommend!"

"Cozy home. Had everything needed in household. Host answered my messages back quickly. We stayed an extra month. Great price for what you get. Exceeded all our expectations. "

"The home is large, well appointed, and clean. Be aware that there are 37 steps.There were three issues of concern:The description of amenities twice says washer and dryer are included, but when we asked, we were told that we could only access the washer and dryer if we rented for two weeks.The description of amenities describes the kitchen as "fully appointed", but the dishwasher  had a sign "DO NOT USE", with the waste basket in front of it, blocking the usage and/or the ability to open the dishwasher.There is a sign where you pull up to the parking space which has a picture of a revolver, and reads:"THIS HOME IS PROTECTED BY THE GOOD LORD AND A GUNIF YOU COME HERE TO STEAL OR DO HARM YOU MIGHT MEET BOTH OF THEM"Marc McSweeney"

"Warm, welcoming environment with many considerate updates.Kitchen a dream to use. Definitely recommend . Would have loved the outdoor areas to be swept up abit more, nice nooks and crannies for reading, tea and conversation. Location perfect. Parking for max 3 smaller cars."
