"This house is picturesque! Quick access to a great lake with the soothing sound of rushing water at the cabin. The house is fully functional-we didn't have to run into town to get anything to live normal life during our stay. Thanks for a great place to stay and allowing our dog!"

"The house was very comfortable, clean and the beds were awesomely comfortable. Bring your own skillets to cook in. I did not cook in them and would not even take the skillets provided to Goodwill. I was disappointed by the care not given to the yard. High weeds everywhere. I thought about the pond outside the kitchen window we were supposed to view. Couldn’t see it for the 3’ high weeds. Upon arriving I wasn’t sure we were at the right place. We live in the country also but this beautiful house “inside” needs some serious care outside and “stuff” on the deck “ old rotted theatre chairs” a non working commercial ice machine and others things need to go to the dump. Railing on deck needs to be secure. I would consider renting again provided some improvements were made outside. It wasnt pleasant sitting outside. The Host was wonderful!!! We left early ONLY because the weather was bad and fishing wasn’t good."

"missed having a table. like a dinning table. we used the small coffee table to put our puzzle together when it rained one day. did not realize it was that close to the horses, but they were not a problem. did not start the dishwasher as the power was not on when we left."

"When we first drove to the property, I was a little concerned. The route passes through what appears to be private property, and the area is still being developed. However, any concerns disappeared once we arrived.The property was wonderful. We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying views of Pine Creek, listening to the water, and watching spectacular sunsets. Evenings around small fires by the creek were especially memorable.While the home is not large, it is thoughtfully designed and well equipped with a dishwasher, full oven and stove, washing machine, strong Wi‑Fi, a large TV in the living room, and another TV in the second bedroom. Each room has air conditioning, and the property comfortably accommodates four to six guests.One of my favorite parts of our stay was falling asleep with the windows slightly open to the sounds of crickets, birds, and other wildlife. We regularly saw deer and even elk from the property at dusk.The location was perfect for outdoor activities. We spent our days fishing and mushroom hunting, with great success catching trout and finding morel and bolet mushrooms.Heidi and Ken were fantastic hosts. Since they live nearby, they were available if needed while still giving us complete privacy. The Wi‑Fi was strong enough to use comfortably even while sitting outside by the creek.I often judge a property by one question: “Would I come back?” In this case, the answer is an easy yes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."
