"Needs some TLC, updated decor, maintenance and a deep cleaning. The master bathroom sink doesn’t drain, no extra toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags. No towel rack or hooks in guest bathroom, no toilet paper holder in guest bathroom. Bedroom closets are full of random junk and was not able to use them. Not able to use the TV, no DVD player or DVDs. Needs a radio or Bluetooth speaker, needs alarm clock in bedrooms. No books to read, no deck of cards. Needs a tea kettle, foil, ziplock bags....

"We enjoyed the uniqueness of the hotel and the proximity to downtown Weaverville. Room #1 was fantastic and we enjoyed it very much. Since it overlooks Main Street, there is a lot of noise from trucks at night, but we have more noise at home, so it did not disturb us too much. Due to the historic age of the hotel, there is no elevator, so be prepared to climb stairs to get in/out of the hotel. It was a bit challenging getting our bags up/down the stairs, but we managed. The front stairs are steeper, but easier to get your belongings up and down. When we checked out, we moved our car to the front on Main Street, so it was closer to load our bags. It was very hot in Weaverville during our stay. Our room had a window AC and 2 ceiling fans, so our room stayed comfortable day and night. The windows opened so we were able to get cool fresh air at night, which was something we enjoyed. The parlor downstairs was a great place for our family to gather and enjoy some wine and champagne to celebrate our high school graduate. In the morning some guests ate their breakfast in the parlor. It is large enough to accommodate all the guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and will consider staying again when we come up to visit our family."

"If you are looking for a rest from work, check in to Vintage Pines. All the amenities listed is accurate. *There are plenty of comfy places to sit to read, draw, or have conversation. *Each room has an adjustable air-conditioner.Be sure to pack in your favorites fixings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While you can cook your meals at the house, there is a close-by pizza place and a close-by deli."

"GREAT PLACE! We absolutely loved the location and the house had everything we needed to cook, relax, and play. I love there wasn’t clutter, just the basics you need for a weekend getaway. Lots of room and storage. Hot tub was clean but a little overfilled (Not a big deal) Pool was open but a lot of debris (leaves and pollen). Started to clean because it was a beautiful day to swim but I didn’t want to spend the day cleaning it so we never used it (not a big deal) Very big pool, we hope to use it next time for sure. Easy check in and out. Quiet neighborhood with a deer family that was across the street and sometimes in the front yard. Large fenced backyard with plenty of space for our puppy and to see the stars at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 5 min from Trinity County Brewing Company where we had great beer and delicious food! 20 min to the lake. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Pictures were accurate so we didn’t feel deceived. Definitely coming back."
