"We were very impressed by this apartment; the best that we stayed in during our three week trip to Portugal. We arrived late in the afternoon to find a spread of meats and cheese, fresh bread, and a large bowl of fruit. In the refrigerator was milk, orange juice, eggs, yogurt and a bottle of wine. A lovely experience in the Douro Valley
"We had an amazing two-night stay. Maria and the staff go above and beyond to share restaurant recommendations and insights on the region. The room was comfortable and the pool a nice treat. There are wineries within walking distance and Pinhao is a short drive away. We highly recommend staying at Casa do Santo because it provides an authentic Douro experience that can't be matched."
