"We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a typical small European hotel/pension. And was a different hotel experience for my family who are used to large chain hotels. This property was simple, clean and sufficient for our needs to visit a beautiful area close to the Bavarian castles. There is no air conditioning or fans in the rooms so it can be quite warm during the summer. We were able to open the windows to enjoy the breeze but there were no screens on the windows so we did have to...

"Perfect location to stay at if you are visiting Castle Hohenschwangau and Castle Neuschwanstein. Bus up to Castle Neuschwanstein is next to hotel. The breakfast was included and was very good. One of our rooms had an amazing view of Castle Neuschwanstein."

"The hotel was situated in the middle of the main square/street close to everything. Room was nice and breakfast was good. The restaurant was excellent, best place in town. The location was convenient close to the castle and train station, where you catch the bus to Neuschwanstein. I highly recommend staying here."

"The room was clean and provided all the amenities. The hotel staff was kind. Minuses — dogs barking and dogs off leash and left unattended. We were awoken by a dog barking every morning around 7:00 am, the start of breakfast. Obviously, the dog was left unattended. Outdoor furniture was covered and not available for those who wanted to sit outside and enjoy a drink on the patio. The location was great, but very crowded with tourists. It was a nice stay, but we wouldn’t stay here again."
