"This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. "Spent 3 nights in room "Stella bella". Rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable and stylish. Location is 5 minutes away by car from nice beaches in Ile Rousse. Please note that there is only 1 aircon unit in the room, hence need to leave door open to cool down. There is also only 1 toilet for the 2 bedrooms. Terrasse is great but is a bit noisy due to road proximity. Breakfast was simple, only hot drinks, baked goods and juice. "

"Property was great, very close to the town, easy free parking across the road and a good breakfast. Our room was nice with a big private rerrace with sun beds and a sea view. Our stay was spoilt by some of the hotel policies. We booked the room with a terrace and sea view planning to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and a snack. There was a big sign on each room door to say no food at all allowed in the room or a 100 euro fine. Further, there were no glasses, only tiny paper cups. Glasses are not allowed in the room either. We thought we would have to make do with a cup of tea, but the kettles were taken away from the rooms due to an electrical fault in the hotel. We had to go down to the bar for a plastic cup of hot water to make our tea - bit sad really."
