Overall we enjoyed our stay. The check in process was easy and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The A/C is a huge plus as it was June and very hot outside. The property description says free parking. However, when we checked in, the owner told me we had to pay the parking meter. Luckily, the machine wasnt working. Be aware that the bathroom is very small. Im almost 6 ft and my knees were touching the wall when sitting on the toilet. My wife is 5'3" and she felt it wasnt enough room. When we left for the day, the room was made. That was a nice surprise! The bars, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Check out was very easy.

Nice quiet area, not a lot of tourists. Plenty of little restaurants, loved how they closed off the street in the evening to put out extra tables. The parking in front of La Papaya is a bit troublesome. It is paid parking and they say that they offer a daily rate, but the parking meter doesn't seem to allow us to select the daily rate. There is an app that can be downloaded for the parking, but as a traveller, I didn't want to add some other app to my phone. There is free parking a few blocks away (beyond the church) but of course the free parking is in high demand so hard to find.

Flott opphold og en super vert.

Par fra Norge som ble møtt av den hyggelige og hjelpsomme verten Enriqe. Kort vei til strand ( privat og offentlig), busstopp, supermarked og restauranter. Kun 20 min til Pisa by. Kan bemerkes at det burde vært tilgang til bestikk, kopper og vinglass. Kunne med fordel vært to nøkkelsett til hver leilighet. Men vi hadde et supert opphold. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Arrivé à 19h.personne pour nous accueillir. On a sonné pendant 5mn avant que la maman vienne nous ouvrir.On a même téléphoné au numéro mentionner sur la porte mais pad de reponse.la maman nous a dit de rester dans la cour et ne pas bouger.le fils du propriétaire nous a accueilli et nous a signalé de voir le reste avec son père le lendemain. Papaya porte la mention bed and breakfast mais il n'y a pas de breakfast contrairement à la mention "déjeuner disponible " sur votre site.

Nice hotel in Tirrenia area

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It’s a very modest, nice hotel in a very good area where local people live. It’s approximately 5 min walk to the beach. The owner has a deli store next door, so you can buy good food and wine and have dinner in the hotel courtyard. There is no breakfast included.

Het is een bed en breakfast maar geen breakfast☺. Gezellig aangelegd een soort patio waar rondom allemaal kamertjes zijn voor 2 á 3 persoons. Binnenplaats stonden tafels en stoelen om aan te zitten met een aanrechtblok met borden bekers en bestek voor je ontbijt enz., de vaat werd gedaan.

Great stay in Marina Di Pisa, in a great hotel!

A small hotel without reception, so we were a bit skeptic when we arrived. But then Manzi, the owner, showed up and he was a lovely man!! He took us to our room, which had our own large backyard and two separate bedrooms. In the middle of the main street. We had a great stay in Marina Di Pisa, much thanks to Manzi.

Ruhiger Aufenthalt

Zimmer sehr sauber, es wird auch täglich sauber gemacht. Möbel etwas alt, aber funktionell. Es gibt keine Rezeption, der Besitzer ist zwar freundlich aber selten da, man muss ihn in seinem Laden suchen, wenn man Fragen/Bitten/Beschwerden hat. Restaurants, Supermarkt und Eisdielen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ruhige Lage, nach ein paar Tagen kann es aber langweilig werden. Kleiner Sandstrand 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt , vor allem für kleine Kinder geeignet, ansonsten nur Steinstrand in der Nähe.

malgrès notre réservation faite en début du mois de mars, le B&B était complet à notre arrivée début mai. Le propriétaire nous à relogé, a ces frais, dans un hotel à cotée. Dommage le B&B avait l'aire sympa !!!

Udmærket værelse tæt på strand og Marina

Værelset lå centralt tæt på marinaen og stranden. Hyggelig vært og god modtagelse. Værelser var rene og hyggelige. Der var gratis parkering udenfor bygningen og lige rundt om hjørnet. Kan klart anbefales .

Nice rustic place

La Papaya is nice and cosy place, we enjoyed our stay there. Its location is convenient, between Pisa and Livorno, on a quiet street, but still very close to a supermarket and some restaurants. Our room was very clean, but small - it is ok if you only come there to sleep and take a shower. The owner is super nice.

Perfect spot in Marina di Pisa

Our trip was just for 2 days - we wanted to see Marina di Pisa and bath in the ocean - La Papaya was all we expected and fulfilled our needs. We travelled with a 0 and 5 year old child.

Beautifl B&B, friendly staff, comfy room

Big room (double bed and two singles), good shower. Breakfast served outside - pastries, cakes, juice, yoghurt and hot drinks. The owner was very friendly and also helped us with our onward travel. Located very close to the coast, restaurants and shops.
