Good variety of restaurants in the area to choose from to eat. The best part was the service, the gentleman at the front desk made us feel welcomed and appreciated. He happily did his best to accommodate any requests and clarifications we had."

"Wonderful stay with great service, food, and views! I arrived late (~8 PM), but the manager immediately came to assist with check-in and arrangements. I stayed in Standard Queen Room 17 for four nights—the room was lovely, and the attached bathroom was spacious and spotless. Portable heaters and fans were provided right away whenever requested. The food was delicious (there was quite a bit to choose from)—highly recommend the crispy chicken tenders and pasta! The dining/drawing area overlooks the lake beautifully. The bar downstairs was cozy and well-stocked, perfect for unwinding in the evening after a day of hiking. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea were available 24/7, and a shared microwave was provided for guests. The location is excellent—only about 10 minutes from Castle Rock Hill Trail (a moderate 2-mile hike with ~871 ft elevation gain) and close to the Adirondack Experience Museum. It’s around 1.5 hours to the High Peaks (Lake Placid, ADK Loj, Saranac Lake), but if you start early (~8 AM), you’ll have plenty of time to summit a peak and still explore Placid or Saranac afterward. Overall, the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area! "

"We liked our room. I am disabled and found the bed a little high but my husband helped me to get on it. I also have a high bed at home but have a small stool next to the bed to climb in. "
