"Great little place on the main street in Barbizon. Friendly owners who persevered in English due to our lack of French skills. Not particularly fancy or anything, but very good value for the price. You can walk to some boulders in about 20-30 minutes which is a big bonus. Parking was not included like it said on the listing which was a shame, but we parked easily 2 mins walk away so wasn't an issue."

"We had the most amazing week in this stunning cottage. Frederique and her family were amazing and very helpful when we though we ran into trouble. Our dog made friends with Nestor and it was pleasure to watch them play in the garden. Lovely woods at the back of the house and town easy accessible by tram so no need to drive. "I will stay in a number of times in the villages around Fountainbleau coming to enjoy the Climbing. This is one of the best places I’ve ever been to! It’s not very far from the best bouldering areas, and it has a wonderful feel. If you have a group, this was a perfect place to stay. Highly recommended"
