If you want to stay away from the touristy Fort area on the coast, with a private beach, this place is for you. The only feedback I have for them is be clear about restaurant times. "We had one night in Galle, and were lucky enough to get the ENORMOUS family room - an amazing experience for the entire family. As it was off season (late October), the hotel was quiet and there was some renovation going on, but it was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend! One thing I have to mention: The bedframe extends beyond the mattress and since it's dark wood, it's impossible to see in the dark - two of us came home with some pretty bad shin scrapes :) "

"The rooms are lovely in this little boutique hotel, it is located at the top of Gaul fort and easy to park and find. The staff are very good and helpful. They make good coffee. We didn’t eat here other than a dessert but the quality was good. The restaurant is small though and there are no other facilities but for a comfortable room you can’t go wrong "

"ゴールフォート内の中では比較的値段が安いので少し心配していましたが、その心配は無用でした。とても清潔な部屋とバスルームで内装もオシャレ。夜は徒歩で買い物や観光もできとても便利な立地。一番感動したのは、ブティックホテルだからこそ出来るスタッフの皆様の心遣いです。旅の途中で大きな絵を購入してしまい、パッキングをする為にダンボールの手配が出来ないかお願いしたところ快く快諾して頂き更にスタッフの方がパッキングまでしてくれました。朝食も適度な量でとても美味しかったです。ゴールの滞在は１泊だけだったのですがもっと滞在すれば良かったと思えるほど、良いホテルでした。"
