"We stayed for 1 night DB&B mid-week having seen the hotel on a Scottish TV programme. We were not disappointed, the setting is lovely, all the staff and family very friendly so it almost feels like home from home. There is an extensive gin and whisky drinks selection, and the food is simply wonderful. Good choice and beautifully prepared by their renowned chef. We enjoy fine dining regularly and we will be back with foodie friends. We had chosen to stay in a Garden Room rather than in the main building and it was immaculate. Imaginatively decorated like the rest of the hotel in a contemporary Scottish style without the need for yards of tartan yet still very in keeping. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit outside our room in the evening taking in the tranquillity and view. We will be back!"

"This was my parents favorite stay in Scotland! The town is so cute but the old mill really makes it. The front area is so cute with the restaurant and tent along the river. The rooms were amazing and the beds were so comfortable! I need to message them where their shower heads are from bc omg it was amazing lol! Parking was super easy and having the restaurant right there was so convenient. The location is 10/10 and staff is very welcoming "
