Situated in Tulliemet valley on an old shepherd’s hill track, our huts enjoy breathtakingly long vie

Our huts are luxurious and make for the perfect glamping getaway. Decorated beautifully, they offer block printed linens, hand-stitched quilts, and the comfiest king-size bedchamber. You will be glamping with a hot shower, a fully fitted kitchen, electric underfloor heating, and log burning stoves to keep you extra warm. The two huts are 20m apart sitting in a meadow and surrounded by fields. There are hammocks to read in, an outdoor firepit with wooden armchairs, and sheep wool rugs.

An absolute sanctuary!

Our stay in the Shepherds Huts far exceeded our expectations. We slept soundly on the coziest bed, enjoyed time connecting quietly by the fire, made small feasts for ourselves with everything available in the kitchen and were blown away by the scenery and accessibility of nature and the estates nearby. Our only regret was not staying longer!

Lovely stay - despite weather - cosy wee cabin.

Fab short break - Scottish weather at its best four seasons in one day!! Staff really attentive when there was a power cut caused by the thunderstorms. Charming cabin and we quite enjoyed watching the wild weather whilst toasty and warm inside with the wood burner on.

Great Stay

We had two nights in Curlew Cottage. The hut is comfortable and very cosy - there was a storm on our second night, so it was well tested. The kitchen is well appointed and the shower is a decent size with plenty of hot water. We were welcomed warmly by Yvonne and we knew we could get in touch if required. Hope to be back!

Relaxing Break

Booked the Curlew Shepherds hut for a couple of nights. What a beautiful location and the accommodation was spotless with everything you need. I would recommend downloading what three words to find location. I will definitely be back.

Amazing and Spectacular

An absolutely amazing 1 night stay at the shepherds huts. We rented both as a last minute 1 night stay and I cannot fault it in the slightest. Everything was beyond expectations, the location, the views, the huts, the finishing touches, all absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to go back!

New Year’s Eve stay

We stayed at curlew for my partners birthday which is also New Year’s Eve. The host contacted us whilst we were en route to let us know she had been in to turn the accommodation around to allow us to check in 2 hours early and to put the heating and the lights on due to heavy snow. The accommodating was spotless with everything you would need for a few days stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and have already recommended to friends and family.

Relaxing stay

We loved our two nights stay in the Curlew Hut! The location is beautiful, it is so peaceful and the view is stunning. The accommodation is great, it has everything you need and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Great that it is dog friendly with a bowl, dog treats and poo bags available. Our little dog loved sniffing around the area and watching all the wildlife. We also took advantage of the free entry to the Castle grounds which is a lovely extra we weren’t expecting. Just a note to say, make sure you follow the instructions provided about how to get up to the huts, Google Maps wants to take you another route! We would definitely stay again
