"This was a fantastic place to stay all around. First of all, it's only a five-minute walk to town, if that. La Zubia has several little markets right near by and lots of cafes and bakeries. The house is spacious, beautiful, and authentic, with little touches that the photographs don't capture--like etched glass panes in the dining room entry, a lovely tea set in the pantry, interesting sculptures in the living room. Every room had a lovely chandelier, and the tile floor in the main bedroom is stunning. There's also a rooftop patio with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance The home was spotless on arrival, and our dog was welcomed. Rodrigo and Manuela were lovely and helpful, The only downside was the tight parking and the nasty neighbor who got upset when the wheels of our car touched the line separating our car from his. Other than that, a beautiful stay, highly recommended."

"Terrible hotel. Do not book. Filthy dirty, in desperate need of a refurb or maybe even knocking down and starting again. Because it’s such a hole, it’s used for school trips so we were on a floor with about 50 teenagers banging and crashing around, out of control by their teachers, running around the corridors and shouting until late at night. Everything about this place is rough. I’d sleep in the car if this was the only option. "
