"Enjoyed a rainy day relaxing at the Eagles Nest. Host was responsive and the property was as advertised. Check in was easy, an the hot tub on the enclosed deck was a perfect stress reliever. Hopefully next time the weather will be better so we can enjoy the nearby hiking trails. Highly recommend the Eagles Nest."

"Our group of 8 (adults and kids ages 10-15) had a wonderful New Year's getaway at River Pines Retreat! The house is modern, beautiful, and very clean with many lovely touches throughout that reflect the beauty of the mountains. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit, where we spent most of our time, along with the very large and warm indoor fire places. The hot tub was a treat as was cooking in the beautiful kitchen. We cooked all of our meals at home, played games, enjoyed the spacious yard, and loved disconnecting and spending time together. The large reclining couch was a dream for all of us to relax on and watch movies. Courtney was a responsive and gracious host who answered any of my questions promptly. I would highly recommend this property to others and wish the owners many happy memories with it! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with others!"

"We had a fabulous weekend getaway at this property. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is great for access to hiking trails and the Shenandoah mountains. When we arrived, the hot tub was not cleaned and was cold but the owners responded right away and got the cleaners to arrive within a couple hours to clean it. They were extremely responsive and answered all questions quickly. "

"Overall great time. Lovely home, very spacious. Hot tub worked, access to river was easy. Fire pit is huge. Enough chairs for everybody, and we had a group of 12. Found clean but definitely needs a deep cleaning, the ceiling, under beds and couches, bathroom extractors and the washing machine smelled of mold. Maybe an update of AC units, we did feel hot during the day.Will vrbo in the future with this property. "
