"This was my second time staying here. I love it. Beautiful, clean and very friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to the bellmen and everyone in between. Great location in Downtown Berkeley with restaurants in walking distance, close to Cal, and public transportation steps away. Highly recommend Hotel Shattuck Plaza!"

"This is my favorite hotel. The staff, location, rooms with views, and hotel vibes = superb. Even the room service dinners. I had a massage at the spa for my birthday! Excellent! I had my dog stay with me. She enjoyed the treats at the front desk! I have stayed here at least 5 times! I always feel so welcome. Many gems here like their onsite restaurant Limewood with a view! They serve a great house coffee! It was hard for me to leave but I will return! "

"The hotel was clean and the staff that we came in contact with were all very friendly. I will say the beds could have been a tad comfier but for a hotel bed it was good. Also, they have an adequate amount of pillows. I run cold, and would like to have access to an extra blanket without having to ask for one, so instead I just cranked up the heat, which also helped for white noise! And this was a great location for the event we were attending. I’d definitely stay here again!"
