Welcome to Beauty Sleep on Bellevue! This private home is the perfect place to rest your head while visiting Pittsburgh!
Just a few minutes from downtown.

Enter through the private entrance in your one bedroom oasis

Whole unit and driveway parking. The house itself is a duplex but you have private entrance and private access.

Enjoy everything Pittsburgh has to offer but the benefits of a suburban area, including parking!
Located in the Bellevue neighborhood, we are just 5 minutes from Allegheny General Hospital-Suburban Campus, walking distance to the Lincoln Avenue Brewery and 15 minutes to downtown Pittsburgh.

Welcome to the Steel City! We want you to have an amazing time in our city while ensuring our home stays in great shape for everyone. We’ve had some past issues, so these rules are here to help keep everything running smoothly. If anything seems unclear or if you have any questions, just ask – we’re here to help!


House Rules:

No parties or events – Let’s keep things low-key and relaxed.
No drugs or illicit behavior – Safety and respect for everyone are key.
No smoking, vaping, or marijuana – Please keep it out of the home, off the balconies, and at least 25 feet away from the building.
Quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am – We strictly enforce this to ensure everyone gets a good night’s rest.
Registered guests only – No additional guests or overnight visitors unless they’re listed on your reservation.
No shoes inside – Helps keep the place clean and cozy.
Toilet paper only in the toilet – Keeps the plumbing happy!
Keep the home clean and tidy – Report any damages or missing items to us right away.
Follow all city and building bylaws – It helps everyone get along.

Age Requirement:
Guests must be 21 years or older.

Location Requirement:
We don’t rent to local residents of Pittsburgh – this helps us maintain a vacation-friendly atmosphere.

Fee Schedule:
$500 for removing any or all guests/occupants.
$500 for excessive noise.
$500 for smoking.
$500 for breaking any house rules.
$1000 for clogging toilets with inappropriate items like baby wipes or small objects.
$50 per hour for unauthorized late check-out.
$50 per person for unlisted guests or exceeding the booked number of guests.

We may remove any retaliatory reviews related to violations of these rules. Guests agree to cover any damages resulting from rule violations, including property damage, damage to common areas, and lost revenue due to canceled reservations.

Great location. Cute property.

The place was very cute, and we loved the proximity to restaurants and coffee shops. We couldn't get the wifi to work with the TV, but it wasn't the end of the world.

There were 2 smoke detectors chirping loudly behind locked doors during our entire 3 day stay! We notified the host as soon as we arrived and every day of our stay, including sending videos of the loud chirping. They did nothing but put us off. For a property called “Beauty Sleep in Bellevue”, we were unable to have a quiet night sleep. Supplies were also lacking, there were no outlets in the bathroom, the front door didn’t close properly, the duvet had no cover (ew), and parts of the property were unclean.

DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!!

It took 2 hours to get into the property because the lock batteries were dead. The locksmith went through the back door but once I was in the back door couldn’t be locked. The Air Conditioning is a small window unit in the bedroom, and it was still warm in there. So if you wanted to eat or watch tv you had to sweat. Also some ant problems in the bathroom which is in the bedroom. The place was dusty, but was clean…like it had not been freshened up after it was unused for a while. And limited outlets, need extension cords to get chargers and such where you need them. Not a good experience.

Bellevue

This was so disappointing. We arrived to find the property looking like an uninhabited building. No care to the outside grounds, weeds growing up around the front porch and entrance and into the stairs and porch area itself. The keypad entry was not easy to use. I finally got the the front door opened and the unpleasant smell of sewage wafted out. I walked through the kitchen and living area, which were clean and but sparsely furnished. There was a door in the living room standing open which led out into the back hallway. Apparently, the building is a duplex, which has tenants living upstairs. I walked down the stairs and opened the basement door to see that the sewer had backed up badly. A huge pool of raw sewage stood on the floor. I went back upstairs and attempted to close the door, but there was no doorknob and no way to secure it. I contacted the property manager who told me to go out on the porch where I'd find a lockbox with a key to lock the back hall door. There was no lockbox and no key. She insisted that it was there, so I looked again. No lockbox. She assured me that maintenance had been contacted and would take care of these situations. She could give me no timeline in which the issues would be addressed. We had just come off of a four hour ride and hadn't eaten, but now we couldn't leave our belongings in an unsecured place to go get dinner. We spent three hours trying to deal with this, then finally packed up our belongings and left.
