This property is very dated. I have stayed at many SpringHill Suites and this does not meet the mark for their line. The beds were comfy, however the bathroom had some mold noted on the ceiling, and everything was very early 2000’s. There were issues with the card systems, and staff was extremely helpful. The elevators were filthy.

The minifridge in Room 319 was making noises as if it was leaking water. I tried unplugging it, but couldn't access the power outlet without pulling the entire fridge out. The noise it made overnight kept me up and resulted in poor sleep.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly enough. I’m not sure who dropped the ball but there was a boil water in place for the whole county that our check in person was not aware of. We found out from a family member that we were there to visit. We could not use the water for coffee in the room and were told we would have to purchase bottled water. Nor was there any beverages for breakfast ( coffee, juices). We were also told no water in Pennsylvania was safe to drink. They did put up signs on the day we checked out.

The room’s bathroom was a work in progress. Barely had dry wall. Shower rod hanging out of the wall. Mold and dirt all over bathtub and shower and toilet. Holes throughout the little bit of dry wall there. The pool which was advertised as an indoor heated pool was NOT heated. Nor was the room with the pool. Management claimed it is clearly advertised as a “cold pool” when the third party vendor description AND the property description directly on the Marriott site clearly stated “indoor heated pool “. In addition, the pool was filthy with debris floating in it and collections of dirt along the entire Bottom. When I asked to change rooms due to the condition of the bathroom, I was given the run around by the desk staff. When I then addressed the condition of the pool, I was given the line about advertised as a cold pool even as I showed him the website on my phone with the indoor heated pool posted and told that “amenities” didn’t need to be as advertised. Only safety features. Have never experienced such filth and bad customer service at a Springhill property, though it certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth to consider future Stays at other properties.

The room was spacious and great for my large family. I like the trundle bed. There was a bit of dirt (food crumbs) on the trundle bed when we rolled it out, though. The room was otherwise very clean and neat. I like the kitchenette so one of the kids can brush teeth there while another is showering. The breakfast was well-stocked and delicious. Always love warm waffles. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, happy to get extra towel or sheet as needed.
