Front desk normally shuts down around 11, but they stayed open later to check us because we called and explained we were coming from far away, which was helpful/needed. The room itself was as-advertised (king bed, fridge, microwave, newer AC unit, etc.) but quite small. The bathroom in particular was cramped, and the shower stall was about 2' x 2'. "I really love this hotel. I am an Expedia Platinum member, and stay in the most expensive hotels in the world. It was truly a joy to stay in this $50 motor inn on the edge of the Poconos. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cute little place. I found the room to be cozy. And the owners to be extremely nice. If you need a place to crash for the night. I recommend."

"I have to say this was the most disgusting property I have stayed at in some time. Since there were no other rooms available to stay for over an hour away from Peach Fest, we were compelled to stay in this filthy, squalid, unkempt, falling apart property. Cigarette burns in the bedclothes. Molding separating from walls, broken safe, broken falling to pieces furniture, and no maid service after four nights made this property one of the worst I have ever stayed at. A true zero-star hotel."

We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. Jackie introduced herself as the housekeeper and was very kind to note she would accommodate anything we needed, their restaurant served reasonably priced meals, and located only moments from the Pocono Speedway.
