"The house and garden had everything we needed for a lovely holiday in Sarlat. We were 4 adults staying during the heatwave. The house was clean and tidy with everything ready for our holiday. The air conditioning worked really well during temperatures of 40 deg C. One morning we had a problem with the electricity which Sophie worked hard to get fixed for us that day - Thank you!Plenty of shade and seating outside even on the hottest days - regular dips in the pool certainly helped. We used the footpath down to Sarlat most days, a steady 15 minute walk into the centre of Sarlat. Take a torch if coming back late in the evening. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack."

"Excellent location for restaurants etc, helpful staff, spacious room with comfortable bed. Unfortunately there is no free onsite secure parking as the Expedia Hotel details state ie “ Onsite parking available Convenient and secure onsite parking, a rare amenity in the area.”. This is not at all accurate, You have to park on the closest street to the property. Free parking is only between 6pm and 9am. We paid €15 for three hours before the 6pm free time. Then it’s €5 an hour the next day. So as long as you’re only staying one night it’s not too bad especially if you can check out early and leave. Still very a misleading statement that should be removed."

"We had a wonderful stay at Nichole’s home near Sarlat. Nichole was such a sweet, welcoming host, she speaks only French and fortunately my partner speaks enough to communicate the basics, and we managed just fine. The house itself was beautiful and spotless, both inside and out. We loved the quiet, peaceful setting with gorgeous views, just a short 10-minute drive from Sarlat, close enough for convenience but far enough to feel like a true escape. The private pool and ping pong table were a great bonus for relaxing afternoons.Everything about this stay was perfect. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat near Sarlat with a lovely host."
