"Bad experience at check-in . Staff offered an upgrade for Euro 220 per day. We denied it . He then come back with Euro 150 per day for the same upgrade. We tell him again than we will no pay for an upgrade. The check-in is suppose to be ready at 2pm . When we went to our room at 2:45, the room was not ready and cleaning was in process . Breakfast is a mess. Service very poor for the expected quality of a Parador Hotel."

"A very good place from which to visit the Alhambra. It is important to know 1) that you can park 10 minutes walk away in the Alhambra parking. This is good because it means there are not too many cars attempting to park next to the historic site. The hotel will give you a ‘bono’ for the parking. 2) There is only a fast food retailer nearby. The choices there are very limited. However, it’s only a 15 minute walk to central Cordoba, where there is a huge range of good places to eat."

"Rooftop did not have enough space for guests on our arrival night. They booked a wedding the next night so we couldn’t even enjoy the views. The gym was small. No ventilation and AC was not working. It’s on an upper floor so it gets warm late morning and when others are using it. There were 3 of us in the gym and that was already uncomfortably tight. We had to to step around each other to get weights."

"The hotel is stunning! Walking up the spiral staircase was a dream and I hardly took the elevator. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and very pretty. Overall an excellent stay, though I did see what other reviews mentioned which was that the property could use some maintenence. Little light flickers, a tap that sometimes drips, etc. But the charm of the building is more than enough to make up for that."
