  • Relax, Rejuvenate, and Revitalize...

    Step inside “Seascape” and enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the beach and waters of the Gulf. This condo is one of the few direct Gulf front units at the Placida Beach Club. It is a romantic island paradise located on Little Gasparilla, a tropical barrier island, accessible only by boat. Unlimited use of a pedestrian Ferry (10-minute ride) and gated, mainland parking is included with this rental.

    Relax and immediately feel you’re on vacation, the sound of the surf, the gulf, incredible sunsets, and starry nights. This unit is ideally suited for couples with a Master Bedroom (queen) but accommodates four people with a loft bedroom (full). There is also a queen sleep sofa in the Living Room.

    The unit has recently been remodeled and is well appointed throughout, including beautiful vinyl/tile floors, granite kitchen countertops, all appliances, luxury linens, beach towels, beach chairs and more. It is bright, cheery and has that comfortable feel that's just hard to explain. Your stay also includes a heated, freshwater pool a few steps from the condo.

    This condo is a corner unit and angled in such way that the windows provide almost 180-degree views of the water and beach. You can see and toast to sunsets every day. There are very few comparable condos that can boast this.

    The island offers 7 miles of pristine sand beaches with plentiful shells, starfish, sand dollars and shark’s teeth. Dolphin and manatee are abundant in the surrounding waters. During the summer, the beach is a nesting spot for endangered sea turtles which lay their eggs in the warm sand near the dunes.

    Other island activities include world class tarpon, redfish, and snook fishing. Fish from the dock, beach or with a local fishing charter. Dock your boat (22 ft. max) at the Placida Beach docks. The dock is available on a first come basis*. Off island there are nearby golf courses, boat, kayak and canoe rentals, great restaurants and a grocery store.

    *Docking fee determined by and paid directly to Placida Harbour Club. Docks not available during peak season Jan through April and are arranged through the Placida Harbour Club.

    GENERAL INFORMATION:
    Your stay includes free parking within the gated Placida Harbour Condominiums (PHC) on the mainland side. It also includes complimentary ferry rides from PHC to and from the island. The ferry runs every hour from 9am- 6pm daily. Extended hours in the evening on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays. There are no cars, and there are no stores, or restaurants on the Island.

    Before you depart for the island, bring your food, drinks, fishing poles and luggage; and ENJOY the serenity and seclusion of this beach. Wheelbarrow type carts are available for you to use. Once on the island, the only vehicles are golf carts and bicycles.

    You will have Suncoast high speed internet, with Roku TV providing both local channels and more than 100 other channels to choose from. There is also a 150 plus DVD movie collection.

Beachfront but isolated

Our stay was relaxing and rejuvenating for our whole family. Most days we had the whole beach to ourselves and had a blast. Only downside was the scarcity of ferry trips to and from the mainland and no accomodations for outside their normal hours.

Can not say enough great things about our stay. The condo was beautiful and stocked perfectly. The beach is step’s away and the island is like being in a fantasy world! We will definitely be back! I didn’t want to leave.

Relaxing

The unit was very clean and efficient , with lots of spices ect. Easy access to the beach and beautiful views from the front porch. I enjoyed my time there very much. And would definitely return.

What a view!

I have stayed on LGI for 8 straight years. This condo had the best view of beach/sunset of all of them. Great stay. Nice visit. Only issue was communication between the ferry captain and us on times. But overall a great trip.

Perfect Location & Beautiful View

We’ve been coming down to LGI for 18 years. This condo ranks as one of our favorites! It was so well stocked, clean, updated, & had an amazing view. Owners are very responsive and we absolutely loved our time on the island. Arrival & departure were probably the smoothest we’ve ever had! Already booked for next year!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay in #101. Very peaceful and relaxing. The beach is very easy to get to as well as getting to the island. You do have to plan your stay since you are on an island and you can’t just get in your car but they have made it very convenient to get back and forth to the mainland. We totally enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. Oh, the beach was very nice too, Not crowded at all and everyone was so friendly. Can’t say enough good about our stay, totally enjoyed and would definitely come back.

Great getaway

2nd time staying here. Did not disappoint love this place. The unit and property is great! Beds are comfy. Everything stocked that you need. Beaches beautiful. The ferry however was disappointing. I know they are building a new one but Drivers were rude.they made you feel like getting off island should only be an emergency. Had to call ahead not at all like it was last time we visited. Would not go back until a new ferry is built.

As always we had a fabulous time at Seascape! We had a few minor things out of place when we arrived and when notified, the owners immediately responded and handled the situation. The high tide and storms made lounging at the beach challenging, but the breeze that came along with the weather allowed us to really appreciate and enjoy the outdoor porch (it quickly became my favorite book reading location in the house). We were able to enjoy shelling, beach walks, and evening fishing off the dock. We’ve rented this unit several times over the past 6 years and have always had a positive experience and phenomenal communication with the Koetter’s. The comfortability of the unit and the beauty of the location can not be beat!

Willkommen im Paradies

Wir reisen seit mehr als 30 Jahren auf diese Insel und sind jedes Mal von neuem von der Ruhe, den menschenleeren Stränden und der herrlichen Tierwelt überwältigt. Wir waren das erste Mal in dieser Wohnung und können sie absolut empfehlen. Die Fotos geben einen korrekten Eindruck von allem. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, Internet, Klimaanlage und alle technischen Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern ist vorbildlich. Kurz vor der Ankunft erhält man eine sehr detaillierte Beschreibung zu Anfahrt, Check in, den Einrichtungen im Haus usw. Ein großer Vorteil ist die Fähre, die im Preis inbegriffen ist und mehrfach täglich fährt. Wir haben diese wunderschönen Fahrten über die Lagune immer sehr genossen.

Best Vacation Home & Owners!!!!

Frank & Diane are the best hosts I have ever come across. At 1st we were hesitant to come to an island as we never have and we were unsure about a ferry. Let me tell you it was the best decision and we had an amazing time!!! Beautiful view, closest to the gulf front, secluded, tropical, quiet, the home has everything you need to cook, etc. They contacted us to check in prior, the manual is beyond extensive in a good way and should be the standard in every rental. The time they took to provide step by step manuals of things, the appliances are in excellent condition, home is top notch clean, decor is beautiful, there are plenty of chaira, beach wagon, floaties, air pump, etc. If we had a question they answered very timely. 5 star host!!!!!!!

Quiet beach getaway

Wonderful location off the beaten path. The listing was very accurate and there were no suprises on arrival. The loft studio room is very unique, great for teenager or young adult. Great location on first level of a raised condo. Beach view from lanai is perfect for morning coffee and great for sunset views if its not too hot out. Short walk across the boardwalk to the beach, pretty laid back beach. You may be hesitant to stay on an island and be at the mercy of the ferry. Very well worth the effort and planning to bring your food and leave for excursions or restaurant meals when you want to. If you have a boat, 22' or smaller due to regulations on docks, plan to bring it for a little more freedom. If I understood correctly, the docks with this condo are limited to a 22' boat because of the way the dock is built. There may be other transient ships available for bigger boats somewhere else on the island. Would definitely return to Seascape and Little Gasparilla Island.

The perfect vacation!

We absolutely loved the condo!! This is our second stay at the Placida Beach condos and we won’t stay anywhere else! We loved this unit - the space and the views. You cannot beat it! Kitchen is stocked with what you need to prepare meals. We recommend the grocery service! Lots of towels! Always a relief. Lots of pool / beach toys for the kids that we all enjoyed. The pool was immaculate everyday. There is some construction still going on but it didn’t bother us one bit. The workers were very pleasant if you wanted to chat, and the noise truly was minimal. You only noticed on your walk out of the condo or to the pool. Otherwise, business as usual! If you’re traveling with littles, be aware that the loft / second bedroom has very steep steps! We managed with lots of supervision for the 3.5 year old. :) We can’t wait to come back. Best kept secret!

Perfect way to enjoy LGI!

We are repeat visitors to LGI and find the condos very convenient! This was our first time in this particular unit. We had booked it before but had to cancel after hurricane Ian in 2022. The owners were very accommodating and responsive when this natural disaster occurred just days before our planned visit. Once they informed us they were ready for guests again, we promptly re-booked for 2023. We found the unit to be very unique - corner, amazing view, second bedroom and bath (did not use but would be nice if we brought others along!), well stocked, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The rental included the convenient ferry, parking on the mainland, easy contactless check-in, and use of the condo pool. There is repair work still ongoing on the island and at other buildings but it did not impede our ability to enjoy our time. We were pleased to find everything we needed in the kitchen and an ice maker. We borrowed beach chairs and saved the hassle of bringing our own. We enjoyed the little robot vacuum to help us control the sand and the de-humidifier really made a difference. We found our communications with the owners to be easy and pleasant. The on-site manager was also very responsive. We came prepared with supplies and only left the island briefly to procure a few more groceries. Truly a wonderful place to unplug! I would highly recommend this rental and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Beach Vacation

My wife and I loved our week-long stay at this condo on LGI. It was the first time we've had a trip to ourselves since our son was born a few years ago so we got some much needed rest and relaxation. The location was perfect! The ocean views from the back porch were wonderful! The condo is in the very front of the complex with only a short boardwalk to the beach (50 yards tops). The condo owners and Linda (property manager) were both very flexible with us. Two days before we were scheduled to check-in, the threat of a tropical storm was imminent for LGI and SW Florida. We were told that the ferry would likely have to shut down the day we were supposed to check in due to the storm. We reached out to the owners and asked if we could just push out our reservation dates by another day or two so we would miss the storm and not have our trip interrupted. They made the adjustment right away; no questions asked. The condo had everything you needed for meal prep and we found the WiFi to be very strong. I had to login to a VPN for work on two occasions and the connection was more than adequate. We also had no issues logging into our Hulu account to stream shows at night. The only downside to the trip was the Red Tide that has inundated SW Florida. During the first couple of days of our stay, the algae blooms really set in around LGI and the entire beach was covered in washed up dead fish, etc. The air was also thick with red tide and it was slightly uncomfortable to breath while walking on the beach. However, that only last a short time and eventually everything cleared up nicely. On the flip side, the pool was a short walk away from the condo so we got to enjoy that while the beach cleared up. Overall, we will definitely be coming back for a future vacation at this condo! We feel like LGI is the perfect, laid back atmosphere, that we enjoy in a vacation!

Little Gasparilla island experience

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Little Gasparilla island. The condo met our expectations and the view was beyond spectacular. We enjoyed everything the beach had to offer—long walks, beautiful sunsets, fishing, swimming and shelling. A truly relaxing vacation experience!

Amazing. Perfect property. Great view. Wonderful condo. Very responsive owner and property manager! The beach and sunsets are breathtaking.

Home Away From Home

This was our 6th stay and as always it was amazing! The unit has everything you need and the view is perfection. We’re headed back down in a few weeks to stay again and can’t wait. Our summer vacations at Seascape are what we look forward to every year. Thank you for having us!
